What Shipping Methods Are Available?

For UK postal codes, we use a 3-5 day standard courier service to deliver your order.

Postage, packing and handling is calculated on weight and value and charged at cost price.  Orders for UK deliveries valued at £50.00 and above are post free.

Do You Ship Internationally?

Overseas orders will be charged in £ sterling and the amount debited to your credit or debit card will depend upon the exchange rate on the day of the transaction.  Customers should check with their own card company to ascertain the exact exchange rate as this can vary between different card providers

Deliveries outside of the UK will be sent by Royal Mail’s International Signed For service.  Postage, packing and handling is calculated on weight and value and charged at cost price.  Deliveries to Europe will normally take from 3-5 working days and Worldwide from 5-7 days.

Customs & Duty:  If your order is to be delivered outside the European Union it may attract import duty and local sales taxes which must be paid on receipt of the shipment. These rules may vary dependent upon the country and The Sock Company Country has no control over these charges and cannot predict the amount that may be charged.  Any additional charges for customs clearance are the customer’s responsibility.

How Long Will It Take To Get My Package?

We will normally process and dispatch your order within 7 days of receipt, but because of the nature of our business, orders could take up to 14 days to reach you.

If this is unacceptable for any reason, then please call us on 01938 820121.  If we find that an item is ‘out of stock’, we will contact you to discuss the possible delay.  You may also opt for an alternative or a full refund at this point.


What Payment Methods Are Accepted?

We accept online payment in a secure environment with Visa, MasterCard as well as Solo and Maestro debit cards.  To protect cardholders, your bank may request that you are screened using 3D Secure (MasterCard SecureCode and Verified by Visa).  We may contact you for additional security purposes should we deem this necessary

Is Buying On-Line Safe?

Online payments are processed at the time of ordering by SagePay’s secure online 256-bit protection payment system.  The Sock Company Country does not hold any card or payment information on its system.  SagePay handles all internet payments and we do not see or hold any of your bank or card details. This is the most secure payment method that we are aware of available to our customers.


 How Can I Cancel Or Change My Order?

If you change your mind once you have placed your order on line and you have your order confirmation email we are unable to change it. However in the unlikely event that you realise you have made an error, please call us on 01938 820121 immediately.  Any adjustments will be made at our discretion.

Can I Return a Product?

If, for any reason, you are not happy with your purchase then please return it to us, unworn and with the packaging intact with a copy of your original invoice or with proof of purchase, within 14 days and we will exchange or arrange a refund.

Should you return goods, please obtain proof of postage as we are not responsible for goods whilst in transit from customers.  Please note that we do not refund the original postage and packing charge for returns or exchanges unless the goods are found to be faulty.

This does not affect your statutory rights in any way.
